Responsibilities

The Consultant in Minimally Invasive Surgery will:

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of gynecological conditions such as abnormal vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain, endometriosis, adenomyosis, ovarian cysts, and fibroids.
  • Perform advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures for complex cases including chronic pelvic pain, pelvic masses, and pelvic organ prolapse.
  • Provide surgical support as a Level 3 laparoscopic surgeon, managing emergency cases requiring minimally invasive interventions.
  • Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including diagnostic laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring optimal patient care and outcomes.
  • Contribute to clinical research initiatives and mentor junior staff and medical trainees.

Requirements

  • M.B.B.S. or equivalent medical degree.
  • Recognized post-graduate qualification by the Singapore Medical Council.
  • Completion of specialist training in minimally invasive surgery or a related surgical specialty.
  • Strong experience in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries, with a proven track record in handling complex surgical cases.
