About the Client:

Our client is a Singapore Government 830-bed hospital and is a referral centre providing tertiary services to manage high-risk conditions in women and children

  • Provides obstetric, gynaecological, paediatric, and other services
  • Academic medical centre, affiliated with Duke-NUS, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicinepore Government 830-bed hospital and is a referral centre providing tertiary services to manage high-risk conditions in women and children

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform diagnostic pathology examinations for pediatric patients, including but not limited to biopsies, autopsies, and surgical pathology.
  • Interpret complex clinical pathology data and provide accurate, timely reports to clinical teams.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care, treatment plans, and clinical decision-making.
  • Advise on the development and implementation of pathology protocols and procedures.
  • Contribute to the education and mentorship of junior staff, medical students, and residents.
  • Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Engage in research opportunities to contribute to advancing pediatric pathology knowledge and practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in pediatric pathology and healthcare advancements.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • MBBS or post graduate qualification recognised by Singapore Medical Council;
  • Board-certified or eligible in Pediatric Pathology.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in pediatric pathology.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with the latest pathology techniques and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and quality standards.
  • Ability to provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship within the department.
  • Experience with research and academic contributions is an advantage.
  • Flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment.
  • Highly adaptive and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
