About the Client:

Our client is a Singapore Government 830-bed hospital and is a referral centre providing tertiary services to manage high-risk conditions in women and children

• 830-bed tertiary care hospital part of the SingHealth group
• Provides obstetric, gynaecological, paediatric, and other services
• Academic medical centre, affiliated with Duke-NUS, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicinepore Government 830-bed hospital and is a referral centre providing tertiary services to manage high-risk conditions in women and children

• Located at the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (DPLM)
• Seeking pathologists with subspecialty interests in gynaecological pathology, breast pathology, cytology, or a combination of these areas
• Permanent roles with a dynamic, supportive, and collaborative department

• Provide comprehensive clinical services in gynaecological and breast surgical pathology, frozen section cover, cytology, and multidisciplinary meetings
• Primarily clinical role, with potential education and research responsibilities based on your preferences
• Opportunity for academic candidates with a strong research background in gynaecological or breast pathology to lead research initiatives

• State-of-the-art facilities, including a large range of immunohistochemical stains and integrated molecular diagnostics
• Largest case-mix of gynaecological specimens in Singapore

• Collaborative Environment: Work with a team of six experienced pathologists in a department handling the largest and most diverse case mix of gynaecological specimens in Singapore.

• Academic Growth: Eligible for adjunct or regular academic appointments at Duke-NUS Medical School, at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.

• You should be a qualified and experienced medical specialist with relevant quali­fications that are registrable with the Singapore Medical Council, and have a specialist qualification in gynaecologic and/or breast pathology or have had a distinguished career as a gynaecoogical and breast pathologist that can be recognised by the Specialists Accreditation Board.
• Also, you should have at least one first-author publication in a peer-reviewed journal and have competent clinical skills with the ability to make sound and independent decisions.
• Employment will be made commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
• Experienced in gynaecological or breast pathology, with interest in cytology
